From lifting to powering: Installing and Commissioning POWER TRANSFORMERS calls for good preparation…
The know-how 👩🎓and experience of the original manufacturer continues all the way to the customer site and is vital to ensure flawless installation and guaranteed performance. The site service teams 👷♂️of Pauwels Transformers have all required digital data at hand to ensure shortest installation time as to minimize downtimes 🕐for the end-user. Another excellent job done in Karlsruhe, Germany 🏋♂️. on a 63 MVA-110/22kV Power Transformer.
Pauwels Transformers is pleased to receive its 1000th high-voltage transformer on commission! A small memento to this was handed over to Steven Bultiauw, Division Manager BU Industry North and his team from Genk during their visit to the factory.
After all, in December 2024, the division of EQUANS, INDUSTRY NORTH, ordered two 12 MVA transformers from Pauwels that will be installed at ZF’s site in Lommel.
The design of these transformers is also already planned to facilitate the local grid reinforcement with an increased voltage level in the future, which is planned by FLUVIUS.
Together with EQUANS, Pauwels Transformers is looking forward to further facilitating the energy transition in a sustainable way.
Pauwels Transformers did it!
Our skilled teams successfully built and tested a strategic spare power transformer of 410MVA/220kV, weighing nearly 300 tonnes, 🏋♂️ for the Belgian offshore windpark “NORTHER” .
Norther’s CEO, Mr Christophe De Schryver reacts: “At Norther we continuously strive for maximizing the supply of sustainable energy by ensuring the availability of our infrastructure. Pursuant to this strategy, we have purchased this spare power transformer and we are most satisfied on the professional and successful cooperation with Pauwels Transformers”.
👏 We gladly highlight some of the exceptional talents of our colleagues!
After all, connecting the high-voltage part in a power transformer is specialist work. 🛠️
At Pauwels Transformers you are offered this training just like that.
Unique in Belgium!
Local industry partnerships yield tangible results…
Under a cold but clear blue Belgian sky 😎 , PAUWELS TRANSFORMERS installed today yet another 10 MVA “Small Power” transformer at INEOS in Antwerp. A true testimony of locally manufactured energy efficient transformers in support of local industry growth. In December 2024 we already booked our “one-thousandth” transformer (“Number 1000”) and will disclose soon its happy (also Belgian) customer name, though meanwhile we export to over 25 countries.
The Pauwels Team kicked-off 2025 by replacing the traditional reception with a healthy “New Year 2025 Breakfast” facilitated by our local Mechelen social partner : “JEC De Krone/’tASSke” , a job reintegration center for persons with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We are delighted with their dedicated daily catering services and exited with the partnership.
PAUWELS TRANSFORMERS is proud to partner with BASF in Antwerp in supplying them a range of power transformers in support of their energy investment program to pursue Zero CO2 Emission and Climate Neutrality. The first set of high efficiency power transformers for BASF with bio-degradable ester fluids have successfully passed their final tests in our Mechelen plant and are ready to go!
Last Sunday it was party time at Pauwels Transformers NV.
Colleagues and family members were invited for a tour of the company followed by a delicious buffet.
We are happy to announce the availability of our new stock transformers. Multiple ratings and voltage levels are becoming progressively available, contact us for your urgent project needs on 0032 15 283 333 or info@pauwels.com
