CG Power Systems Belgium makes biggest ever transformer CG Power Systems Belgium has manufactured and successfully tested a 750 MVA power transformer. The 750 MVA order was placed directly by the national utility Saudi Electricity Company. The transformer weighs 364 tonnes and has a shipping weight of 207 tonnes. Its dimensions are: length 11.80m, width 4.76m, height 4.35m. The scope of work for CG Power Systems Belgium covered design, manufacturing and delivery to site, including site installation and testing.

The SLIM® success story started in 2000 when the former Pauwels and DuPont Nomex teamed up to focus on fluid filled transformers, primarily targeted on the wind segment. 10 years onward CG has successfully installed 6,000 SLIM® and Bio-SLIM® transformers ? representing over 14 GW.
