CG Power Systems Belgium makes biggest ever transformer CG Power Systems Belgium has manufactured and successfully tested a 750 MVA power transformer. The 750 MVA order was placed directly by the national utility Saudi Electricity Company. The transformer weighs 364 tonnes and has a shipping weight of 207 tonnes. Its dimensions are: length 11.80m, width 4.76m, height 4.35m. Belwind: CG Systems Division (as a partner in the BOSS JV with Fabricom and Iemants) is responsible for the main electrical works, including the grid connection of the Belwind offshore windfarm, located on the Bligh Bank, 50km off the coast of Zeebrugge (Belgium).
